Understand the business.
Start with your goals, the people using the system, and what’s working today. Define the problem before choosing the tools.
About Constellation
We help businesses build websites, applications, and data systems that make everyday work clearer and easier.
Why we do this
Every business has its own moving parts. Our job is to understand how they connect and build technology that supports them.
Constellation Systems brings web development, data engineering, and analytics together under one practical approach: start with the business, choose tools intentionally, and build something that can be maintained over time.
That means a clear scope, direct communication, and hands-on work. From a business website to a reporting pipeline, we focus on what will be useful in day-to-day operations.
The person behind the work
I’m Alejandro Colocho, a data engineer focused on clear, maintainable systems that fit the way a business actually operates.
I’ve seen teams take on complex platforms before their problems require them. My work starts by understanding the real need, then choosing the level of architecture and tooling that makes sense.
I help teams evaluate their existing systems, simplify workflows, and design reliable models and pipelines. Having built and maintained systems businesses rely on, I bring both a practical engineering perspective and an understanding of the decisions behind the work.
Through Lean Data Engineer, I share ideas about simpler architecture and sustainable data engineering. That same emphasis on clarity and business fit shapes the work at Constellation Systems.
